C-DOCTOR PI, Dr. Michael Longaker, one of 145 2026 National Academy of Science Inductees

C-DOCTOR congratulates Principal Investigator Dr. Michael Longaker on his election to the National Academy of Sciences (NAS), one of the highest honors in American science. Dr. Longaker was among 145 scientists worldwide recognized in 2026 for their distinguished and continuing achievements in original research. Dr. Longaker is the Deane P. and Louise Mitchell Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine and a pioneer in regenerative medicine, wound healing, stem cell biology, and tissue engineering. His groundbreaking work has advanced the understanding of tissue repair and skeletal stem cells, helping shape new therapeutic approaches for regenerative medicine and surgery.
